A self-proclaimed gourmand thanks to my French roots, I have always enjoyed good food. For the past three years it has been my mission to find new ways to feed myself and my community. After graduating from Yale University in 2015 with a BA in Art History and spending the following years working in various food businesses and farm internships as well as traveling, I ended up at the Organic Farm School on Whidbey Island, WA in 2018. There I put my love of food into practice to learn the ins and outs of farm management.
Often I am asked why I chose farming. A brief answer would be that farming chose me. Producing (and consuming) food has become the heart of my identity. It’s hard work, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. It is my joy and pleasure as a first year solo farmer to feed and nourish my community with satisfying food. As I work and grow in this important role, I hope you will join me at the proverbial table.
